Choose how independently Sonneto works.
Start with recommendations, approve an exact candidate, then permit selected automatic actions. Every level has explicit boundaries.
You choose the responsibility.

Three modes, distinct responsibilities.
Workspace policy and per-bot settings work together. A permissive bot policy does not remove workspace restrictions. Automatic publication starts disabled.
Advisor
Inspect supported data and receive recommendations without applying a repair. Use it to understand a bot before deciding what should change.
Approval Mode
Prepare and test a proposal. An authorized owner or admin approves the exact candidate for draft application, then decides separately about publication.
Autonomous Mode
Run only the actions permitted by the saved bot policy. Changes outside eligible categories require manual review.
Make the release gate concrete.
Before enabling automatic publication, complete a manually generated, approved and published AI repair for the bot with the configured provider. Enable recurring diagnosis and verify that its maintenance runner actually processes due work.
Separate permissions
Draft editing does not imply publication permission. Automatic rollback also has its own control. Select only the actions you intend to authorize.
Recheck the candidate
Version, policy, validation and release checks run again when an action executes. Changed drafts or stale approvals can stop the operation.
Narrow categories
Save exact before/after wording pairs or allow supported whitespace cleanup. Broader rewrites, connections, routing and integrations need manual review.
How it works.
- 01
Begin with review
Complete and manually publish a real AI repair.
- 02
Set narrow permissions
Choose exact replacements, samples, cooldowns and separate publishing and rollback controls.
- 03
Verify and supervise
Inspect task history, confirm unattended execution and retain pause controls.
From question to next action.
- 01Goal
- Allow draft preparation while the owner retains publication control.
- 02Evidence
- Illustrative policy: Autonomous Mode for one bot, eligible draft edits on, automatic publishing off.
- 03Action
- An exact approved replacement passes tests and updates the draft.
- 04Follow-through
- The owner reviews publication separately. Prior approval of different text cannot authorize a new candidate.
What to expect.
| Scope | Details |
|---|---|
| Automatic eligibility | Exact owner-approved replacements and supported whitespace cleanup. |
| Manual review | Connections, broader AI changes and operations outside saved policy. |
| Important limit | Passing tests does not guarantee factual accuracy or every visitor outcome. |
Access depends on permissions, provider configuration and applicable AI allowance. Check current plans and pricing.
